As a Registered Massage Therapist (MTAS -2001), Rapid NFR Specialist (2024) and a Certified Laser Therapist, (Bioflex Laser- 2009), I have a special interest in the human body and its capacity to adapt, heal and regenerate.
I first became interested in massage therapy after sustaining a whiplash injury myself. Because massage was very instrumental in helping me recover, I fell in love with the modality and the idea of being able to help people deal with pain and injury.
When you book in with me, you can expect that I will work to understand your treatment goals by listening to your journey and your concerns.
Pain and dealing with pain is my primary focus and I strive to provide an individual therapeutic treatment approach that is effective for each patient.
Rapid Neurofascial Reset is the most recent form of therapy that I have added to my practise. Rapid addresses the body from a pain perspective and involves accessing the fascial tissue, decreasing pain and increasing range of motion.
Laser therapy, or Photobiomodulation is another modality that helped me recover from both chronic and acute injuries. This therapy provides a different way to help with pain and healing.
The Bioflex Laser System is a Low Intensity Laser, also referred to as Low Level or Cold Laser. Bioflex Laser Therapy utilizes red and infrared light to interact with tissue, which promotes healing and often eliminates pain. Laser Therapy offers patients a safe and effective therapy for a wide range of medical conditions, including soft tissue and sports injuries, arthritic conditions and repetitive stress injuries.
In addition to addressing chronic or acute soft tissue injuries and pain, I very much enjoy working with new and expecting moms. I have a beautiful pregnancy cushion that allows me to help you find a comfortable position that allows you to relax while receiving treatment.
